    Name: Yukon Cornelius

Time Zone: I'm stuck in yesterday, help me.

    Age: Stone, verging on bronze

    Talent: Eating Beef Cakes

    Desired Position: Town Fool

Past Experience: Oh boy, here's a long list. I've patched holes in rivers, fixed the filament inside of light bulbs without taking them apart, cooked 20 minute bake cookies in just 5 minutes, inflated a football with my nose, designed the "tree" (yes, those things you see everywhere, that was me), ate just one potato chip, and discovered tornadoes.

About Yourself: I never knew my ma, and my daddy left me at a roaming carnival when i was 6. I was taken in by the balloon animal guy, he's been a father figure to me ever since. When I was 18, I took a liking to the trapeze arts, and began my grueling tutorship. That didn't last long however, as I broke my leg just a year later. I've been sitting here playing minecraft ever since, though my balloon animal daddy keeps trying to get me to join him again in the pro balloon circuit.

Why do You Want to Join: Trump might win the election. Need I say more?

What Makes You the Best Pick?: I touched a lion once. I know you don't think it applies, but it does if you don't think about it. I'm also a minority, fill your quotas.

Preliminary Portfolio: I'll have it faxed over, PM me the number.

Skype/Discord: I mean, I was born without a mouth, so talking isn't my strong suit. Come to think of it, that might be why my father left me. I have to eat through my nose, which, believe me, you don't want to hear coming through the mic. I can type faster than a lizard on orange juice though so....

Steam is a great place to advertise a game and an easy way to get it to the people that want to play it. Steam also charges a hefty percent of the profits for every game sold (I've heard it could be as high as 30%). I see no reason why Microsoft will sacrifice profits to gain something they don't really need.

Please look at the title of this thread. Look at your answer. I'm not saying you can't suggest other headsets, but:

    1. The OP has already explained why he wanted said headphones.
    2. He's asking a completely different question than "which headphones".
    3. You seem hellbent on getting the man something else. Everyone has their own reasons, it's not just cheapness. I own many Apple products, does that make me a rich boy who fell for their marketing? No. I like the brand, I like it's usability, and I've been introduced to it since I was younger. I'm not trying to sound hostile, but these types of posts in the tech forum are really starting to get out of hand IMO.

tl:dr - don't sound like a salesman, these "salesman posts" are something that most OP's aren't asking for when they make these threads

You seem hellbent on taking offense for a guy who isn't offended. The OP has already shown interest in others making suggestions. Your attack out of nowhere on a guy just trying to help is completely unwarranted.

I just got me a mid range headset (on sale o' course =D). I don't know much about headsets, but I like these so far. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6826374018

As for earning money, bing has a system where you can do searches each day to earn points, and then you can trade in points for $5 gift cards (takes a little over a month). You could do one for an amazon gift card or something and then maybe give it to your parents when they purchase the headset.

Because little kids aren't really old enough to consent, even if they do like each other.

Just in general, I think it should be legal. It doesn't affect straight people, and it'll make life a little easier for people who aren't straight.

That very law is the one that would come into question.
The whole idea of giving consent is a law made by those not within the group specified (just like the laws against gay marriage).

Food for thought: Here are the common arguments for and against homosexuality.
    For:
    Nothing wrong with loving someone
It's their right to choose who to have relations with
    It's not fair to them
    Against:
    Religious reasons
    Heath reasons
    Moral reasons

Now the interesting bit: these very reasons for and against homosexuality can also be used for and against pedophilia. So why are we accepting of homosexuality and not pedophilia? If two people love each other, shouldn't they be allowed to be together? It seems to me that either both or neither should be allowed in a country. Pedophilia is also spoken against in religion, so in order to separate church and state, should allow people to have such relations?

Personally, I fear what will be acceptable in a few years time. Allowing homosexuality a few decades ago was unthinkable. Who knows what will be allowed in the next few decades. Perhaps nothing. But do we risk it?

*edit* before someone rages against me for comparing pedophiles to homosexuals, know I am just talking about the cases in pedophilia where the two involved do mutually like each other.

I have actually given this an uncommon amount of thought =P Telekinesis is a great superpower that includes many things into one. Such as:

Flight: Ability to move things with your mind, why not your own body?

Create/manipulate fire: Gather the dust in the air, excite the particles on a molecular level to have it burst into flame, move afterwards as you will.

Manipulate any other element: It's like having super strength, but you don't have to move.

Illusion: This one is a bit iffy, but if you could move anything with your mind, perhaps light could be included. By moving light, you can change the color and direction resulting in the creation of whatever illusion you wish. (This also includes creating and manipulating sound waves)

Invisibility: If you can move light, you can move it around you, making it appear as if you weren't really there.

Disintegration: Create a small gap between the atoms of any object to make it collapse in a pile of dust.

Shielding: You can decide what does or does not approach you, down to the smallest biological hazard.

Super sight: Not literal, but if you could use your power to gently push on the things around you, you could sense it's relative location. This allows you to close your eyes and "see" literally everything within range of your powers, even if blocked from normal view.

Healing: With enough knowledge of the human body, you can force bones to knit together on a molecular level, close cuts and bruises, filter blood of poisons or clots, force a heart to beat or lungs to breath.

Fighting among siblings is just how life is in the younger years. Once you get older though, your siblings may end up being some of the best friends you have. My brothers and I all like the same things from the magic card game to gaming to reading fantasy. We come home from our colleges each weekend so we can do stuff together. We haven't gotten angry at each other in many years. You said you were a gamer, and maybe your brother is as well. It may be that for now, he doesn't want you touching his games or he doesn't want you copying him in all his likes and dislikes. But give it a few years, and you guys will be playing video games together all the time.

I believe in what the bible says mostly due to the book itself. It was written by many different people over a very wide margin of time, and yet it all works out so amazingly. Things like the smallest symbols remain constant throughout the entire thing, and not just one, EVERY single one. Reading the bible I find new things every day that I can link to other passages and I realize more and more how amazingly written it is. So amazingly written in fact, that it could not have been done without some sort of divine intervention. Then there's also prophesy and such. Do you believe that Jesus lived? Even if he was just some guy? The bible prophesied about a him and many of the things he did. And the bible wasn't written after he lived (the new testament was after, but the old testament is where prophesies of him were written) Check out the dead sea scrolls. Also you would think that any document being copied over and over would become inaccurate, and vastly different versions would appear (like that telephone game). But when modern texts are compared to the dead sea scrolls, they are near exact. That doesn't seem likely to me without divine intervention.

Many people question God's existence because of all the crap that goes on in the world. Why would a loving god let people suffer? It's really quite a simple answer. Because we have free will! You are able to make your own decisions. Inevitably, you will make some choices that are not good for you, and you or others will be hurt as a result. Take away this free will, and we are just robots doing God's will.

What mark will you leave on this world when you are gone? If this is the only life you've got, what does anything you do matter? You want to leave a some good memories with loved ones? They die too. And then everything you ever did will be forgotten. It's really a depressing outlook on life. At the very least, religion takes away this depressing view. If you are lost, and are looking for some purpose to life, what's the risk in looking to a higher power? You want to know the meaning of life? Ecclesiastes 12:13 - "Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."
