ABOUT THE SERVER
GalaxyCraft is inspired heavily by Ethoslab's Modded Minecraft S2 modpack list. This is intended to be a community oriented server dedicated to providing a welcoming experience to all players. All play styles are welcome, and the various mods (Create/Alex's Mobs/Decorative Blocks/Biomes O' Plenty) will engage everyone differently.

I've server hopped for a long time, with single player worlds interspersed here or there when I got tired of dying servers or inactive mods/admins/players. I decided to create and host my own server so that I can help grow a community of players that have faced similar experiences.

I started playing MC back before v1.0 in highschool and after graduating university I fell in love with the MC youtuber community. Starting with LukeTheNotable and NotPaulGG I eventually found fWhip, MythicalSausage, in Empires SMP S1 and Hermitcraft. Since seeing these amazing SMPs I have always wanted to be part of a similar community where people can show off their fancy builds, fantastical lore, and fascinating redstone contraptions.

In the last few months I have been entralled by Ethoslab's Modded Minecraft S2 series. That, and my love of the new world-gen update from 1.18/1.19 inspired me to play a vanilla-esque modded MC experience.

Regardless of what play style you have or what your MC journey has been, I hope we can be friends, show off our MC creations, and enjoy GalaxyCraft together!
