You have not actually accounted for the fact that the earth has a natural balancing effect - trees, which we chop down - seas, which are now full of CO2 - icecaps, which are melting. On the other hand, we have cows, coal, oil, etc.

The best mob? At the moment? Almost definitely parrots. Although, I kinda want ravens... But when the Warden comes out, I'll possibly have to revise my answer.

Good things for Minecraft -
1. A massive Biomes update, including new plants such as the Baobab and new mobs such as the following:
New Biome Mobs
Mob	Environment	Tameable / Passive / Hostile (T/P/H)
Penguin	Cold Sea & Snowy Beach	P
Pseudodragons (Tiny, Breath fire)	Jungles, Mountains, Caves	P; T; H if provoked
Lurkers (Tiny, scuttling things with long arms)	Ruined Nether Portals	H
Fur Seal	Cold Sea & Snowy Beach	P; H if provoked
Beholder / the Eye	Caves	H
Queen Phantom (Bigger, rarer Phantom)	Overworld	H
Fireflies	Dark Forest, Forest	P
Eradicator (Illager equipped with a hand cannon)	Mansions	H
Illusioner	Mansions	H
Wraiths (A translucent mob)	Places where a player has died.	H
Barge (A Large mob that can break down doors)	Red Nether	H

4. The ability to create minecraft mobs, dimensions and similar within minecraft itself.

Those are what I want.
