16gb Ram is overkill, you only need 8gb. Also get water cooling not that shit.

I'd recommend water cooling and an i7 CPU, also I have 16gb ram (memory) and It's over kill and in a way a waste of money so lower it to 8gb,

If you're looking for a new computer I would not recommend A laptop, They usually seem to break easier and get slower faster, also there is a higher chance of them over heating over time as they're a lot more compact. On the other hand A desktop Can easily be upgraded and fixed, They also have a lot more fans so keep cool. I guess I hope I helped,
