    Oh my God, I am such an idiot! I didn't notice that there were still remnants of the older launcher in my .minecraft folder, including the launcher itself! I deleted it and all the files related and it works perfectly now. Thank you sooo much!

    I attempted all of the solutions you suggested. Unfortunately, the issue is still occurring. I appreciate your help though! Hopefully someone will come across this thread and help me fix the problem. For now, I suppose i'll just use Optifine until the issue can be properly resolved.

    That's weird because the issue didn't occur until after I installed oldest Minecraft Launcher. The version of forge I am using was working perfectly fine before that.
