cnote75Randomness3333Great build 57. As for the OS it's your choice. You can save some cash by getting it from r/softwareswap but make sure to find a reliable seller first.
Yeah that's what I'm worried about. I can't use the OS on my current PC can I? Oh well. I guess I'll just get it from whatever place pcpartpicker says its cheaper at the moment.

THANK YOU finally someone who actually knows what they are talking about
You're saying a Mac can run anything, if you put windows on it right? So you mean the specs can, not the OS, because the OS cannot run every game. It can't, and never will.
So lets talk about specs:
**The specs I compare, are ones that are almost identical.
Mac Pro ($3999):
CPU:
Mac - Xeon E5 1650 v2 (~$500, not good for gaming, more for working)
PC equivalent - i7 - 4770k (~$320, good for gaming, and for working)
Mac - Dual AMD FirePro D500 (????? Costs I'm guessing ~$700 for both of them, horrible for gaming, will not get the best drivers/support.)
PC equivalent - Dual 280x's (~$700 for both, great for gaming, will never drop below 90 FPS on ultra 1080p)
Mac - 16 GB's of ram (this is pretty basic...)
PC equivalent - Same?
Mac- OSX (Can only play OpenGL games, not DirectX)
PC equivalent - Windows (Can play any game that you can run)
So, long story short, is it worth that extra 2.5k for something that will not play as good as the PC Equivalent?
