would never work in minecraft. digital work is easily copied by a variety of means and easily distributed too. for every 1 legit purchase you would get there would be a 1000 that never paid a cent for your hard work and its not worth it to even try.

I suggest you just go ahead and share it freely for the enrichment of your fellow minecrafter or don't try to share it at all. I do this with my own projects cause I like to hear what people think about my work, I have no delusions that its worth any coin to them tho.

LOL, mabye if the kid took a meter square crate of TnT and some flint and steel to school, then he might have a case, but as it stands, the claim is just ridiculous.

Communities/Mapping Help with building medieval/fantasy builds?
Trydar
• 09/27/2013 4:58 pm

heres some short ones for you:

-visualize what you want before you start placing blocks
-lay out your foundations with odd numbers and reference lines
-know when to stop adding detail. sometimes less is more
-keep things in proportion to your character
-don't build the outside then think about the inside

Communities/Mapping CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM NEEDED

well, it would definitely benefit from some landscaping. and it looks too rigidly symmetrical for what it is. I would stretch and compress some areas to make it less like that. add a wing or unique structural element here and there to make it more rambly and it will give it a lot more character.

Communities/Mapping Tutorial: Building a great castle!

well, as a castle building enthusiast, I like that its not too fantastical and has some consideration to realism.

my only criticism would be that the gatehouse looks under fortified and out of proportion. its dominating your courtyard that should be more flat and filled with several smaller buildings of specialized functions.

Trydar

birds for starters. deer wouldn't hurt either. and more ocean life like fish and whales. a few dinosaurs would be fun too. also a balrog cavern near bedrock would be cool, or a magma worm.

hi there kiki, please check mine out and let me know what you think: http://www.youtube.com/user/trydar9k

I make castle building vids, darker themed storyline driven vids and my own texture packs. my quality is continually improving I think, but I will accept any criticism you have to offer. atm im struggling with finding an audience and feel lost in the crowd.
