Well, all this tech talk makes me want to incinerate my current piece of garbage, so with it's safety in mind I think I need to log off. Later guys, and good luck with your problems.

Oh I know the guy didn't have that much, I'm just saying it's possible. You can tell people are lying about pc specs when they brag about it to the point where it's impossible. 3 terrabytes on anything is overkill, you could have a couple hundred blu ray movies on something like that.

TryonThe 3 terabyte is most definitely bogus, aside from external storage there's no way a desktop would have that, but 32 gigs is feasible. But yeah, Any over 100 or so is very much false. As for the person who is having problems, Go and actually buy the game on the official site, and if you truly did then search this site for help, there's numerous blogs about Minecraft lag, including 2 I've even made. And I'm fairly sure my $130 laptop with about 1.5 gb of Ram and ATI Radeo 3100 graphics is a little worse than what you're working with.

They claimed to be running a laptop with 32gb of ram and a 3TB HDD. I don't even. I was in shock from the stupidity. Seriously, I had to stop playing to try and comprehend this guy.

Yeah, but 32 gigs of RAM is possible on a laptop. It's a complete HUGE waste of money and RAM, but you'd be surprised how many people get a nerd boner just over numbers and waste their money buying it.

Exactly, my point being that there's no way he gets as much as he claims he does. Aside from having a server (an actual hardware server) dedicated to solo use I can't see how 300 is possible. I'm just calling his bluff.

Somehow that seems like a sorry excuse
But technically speaking if you get that result on vanilla minecraft with only it running, you should still be getting about 200 frames atleast, even on a modded client.

Care to prove it? Press f3 ingame and screenshot it (f2). I'm not flaming or anything, I've just never seen that good of a result.

    Somehow I don't believe you're getting 300-350 fps...

Okay, then describe your launcher to me. What opens up? Is it a menu or what?

You did actually buy the game from Minecraft.net?

I usually focus on vanilla Minecraft, but there's an exceptional program called Modcraft that will install mods for you. You can get it at http://www.modcraft.eu and it's free. It's pretty nifty, but only pre-selected mods are able to be installed. It's got a pretty wide range though, so I really recommend it.

:0 No whey! Well, anyway, try out the thieves guild quests, at one point you'll get something called a skeleton key, it's an unbreakable lockpick that you can use indefinitely until you turn it in. Also, go to Whiterun in the inn and talk to a guy named Sam. I don't want to ruin it for you, but there's an awesome hangover reference and it's questline.

These aren't double villages... they're just larger villages.

Just look at my pixel art map. I spent two weeks doing and redoing pixel art, and hardly anybody knows the map exists. You won't get any gratification from it, people probably won't even compliment you on it. It's just something that doesn't appeal to anybody anymore.

Tell me about it. Every one just turns to programs like SpriteCraft, and don't appreciate pixel art anymore.

    I got:
Rollerball mouse (I'm on a laptop, it helps alot)
    Earbuds
    $25 itunes
    $20 Best buy gift card
    $20 bill
    Remote controlled helicopter
    Ton of candy
Iobit advanced systemcare pro (http://www.iobit.com) It's amazing!
    Norton 360
And last but not least, an airsoft rifle!

Oh and my birthday is december 22 so I got:
    Skyrim
    Dante's Inferno
New silver edition plug n play xbox wireless charging controller
And a crap load of batteries

I don't like bragging, but seeing as how I come from a poor family (around 18k a year)
I now feel like a spoiled brat. I hate it too, cause all this easily cost my dad around 1000 bucks And by the way Christmas isn't about materialism It's about selflessness, family and the birth of your supposed lord.
