You've made a point that I have defended myself until now. The idea behind making a separate tab for modpacks is so that plagiarism is completely cancelled out, because only collecting the mods together can be claimed to be original. Perhaps providing links to the original mods could be a required field, I don't know. But I'm quite sure noone who packs these mods together is trying to claim for the mods themselves, they just want to share the collection.
I think the system of credit and originality has gone too far on PMC, maybe there should be a general submission area for people who don't want to claim for the item, but do want to share it. Somewhere that you don't gain xp from perhaps. I don't know, I just feel it's not working at the moment, and instead of laying it all on the moderators to sort things out, something should be done more officially about it.
