:L Defragment update, it says I have a Hard Drive that is like 30% Fragged, and it's called \\?\Volume{ or something. Could this be it, the source, the leech, the bug?

Dota runs fine, 44 FPS, no lag/spikes, smooth and great. So it's minecraft that lags then.

Second, I thought that too, but I use 1.7.4 because of Optifine.

I just tested MC again, and thought it was fixed, with recording I got a spiffing 60 average FPS and then, WAHBOOSH! Flew down to 40. Sounds like overheating but I don't think it is hot..

Hmmm, maybe backup your .minecraft world files/servers, etc. Then delete .minecraft? And uninstall all Java's and reinstall the newest one? I doubt that'll work, but worth a try?

Minecraft runs differently on different machines, more ram could better your FPS.

Is that memory dedicated to your vido card or is that the allocated memory to your video card?

No, ram won't make it faster. And, vram and ram are two different things.

If you wish to argue, do so, but on this thread, please help me with my issue.
