You cant run minecraft without java, so if you played before without the mods you dont need to download java. And java auto updates if im not wrong.

Go my free 512 mb server and will start working on it! I hope server will be able to handle plugins and me on it, if not than Ill have to upgrade with my own budget for now.

I was just going to the park with my friend when out of no where 2 policeman dressed as civilians stoped us. They asked us for the thing, ID card? I dont know how it is called in english but anyways on to the topic, they were asking us if we sell/do have any drugs and well I got checked, felt kinda odd when they were searching for something I dont have (neither did I ever, neither do I plan) while I was standing there in middle of the streat. Only thing they found was cigarrs and that was okey since it is doing harm to me but you know, something that does harm is allowed while something that isnt...isnt.

And after that they let us go and thats it. I dont know why, but I was scared as well never have I ever done something wrong and was just randomly stoped by police.

So, I was thinking of making a Minecraft 1.0 or a Minecraft 1.x beta server. I truly miss the simplicity and the servers back then... I wanted to make a Minecraft server because there aren't that many (Heck, there aren't any!) so if anybody would be interested or would like to see something like this post it in the comments!

Also, tell me what MC version I should run it on. I thought about 1.0 but if you would like any version of beta that would be fine! I'm not really sure about doing alpha tho.

If you have old server files I dont see a reason not to try this?
