i tihnk you have a black eye, black and blue is usually visible when you have a black eye, i recommend shades.

set clouds to fast
graphics to fast
set render distance to 2
set particles to minimal
set vbos on
max framerate to unlimited
be sure you have optifine on for these settings below:
animation settings off
quality settings off
chunk updates 1
Everything else is your choice!
