You should check Cubic Chunks out, (The suggestion on the Minecraft Forums.) It reduces lag, optimizes the Chunk system, and as a side effect, removes the height limit!

I think I'll get all of them, then. I also want to get the Cubic Chunks mod, does anyone here have any experience with that? And is Bukkit easy to use?

I think Plugin API is for singleplayer mods or something. Bukkit is for multiplayer.

MCEdit is a program-thing, and yes it's good. You can use filters to edit mobs, items, blocks, spawner blocks, etc. Lot's of good filters were made by Sethbling. It can also just be used to import schematics, or simply place blocks anywhere.

So all of these should be compatible? And I'll need to use them with a Bukkit server if I want someone to help me? And Plugin API probably won't help with these?

What is a Bukkit server exactly? And what are the main differences between World Edit and VoxelSniper?
