THANK YOU GREATLY for all of your support! It is massively appreciated! I'm glad you are all enjoying the idea of the texture pack, no matter if you're blind or not - even Sam from The Blind Life, who is a popular blind YouTube vlogger approved the idea and was very happy!
I promised I was going to update you all on here, so here is what I have done so far:
- Changed environment textures for snow and rain
Snowflakes and droplets are now larger and partly transparent
- Changed environment texture for end sky
The end sky is now less detailed now
- Changed all GUI textures
GUI is now simplified and with high contrast
- Removed long splashes and added a few custom ones
There are no extralong splashes (the yellow bouncing text in the menu) and now, there are also some few extra ones instead, relating to the pack
- Added resource pack credits
- Changed Maps textures
Mainly made the outlines of the map textures high-contrasted and some icons slightly larger
- Changed Misc textures
Mainly changed textures for the "enchanted" effect and the "pumpkin on head" texture, making them easier to see
- Changed and Added Paintings
Either changed paintings entirely, to a more visible, high-contrast one, or edited in-game paintings to have higher contrast
I will now be moving onto Items textures. Hopefully what I do will help blind gamers but also be a nice texture for anyone to use.
