    As Paril says the number of slots available will not affect performance unless they're filled.

    Your server has 4GB of RAM which is imo fine for any medium sized server. I run my own with 10GB dedicated to my Minecraft process with a fairly large main world, small sized nether + the end - 32 plugins and at times when there's 30 - 40 players on it might only be using 5GB of memory.

    If you run into any issues I recommend you try the Spigot modification of Craftbukkit as it can really help out for systems with limited resources. Will take a load off your memory and CPU

    Had something similar on my server where a player by the name of hey_1 was using the private messaging feature to ask another player to add them on facebook and send 'the n00dz'

    Server is strictly moderated so we banned the player as well as the IP address

    Thanks for the tips. I bumped the slots to 100

    That's unfortunate to hear that the algorithm is reduced since time of posting as I've just noticed that current servers in the slider are between 1-3 days of being posted. Mine however is 6 months old so getting in there will be somewhat difficult

    I'm not sure if the site allows it but can you not just embed the button or even the image of the button + URL ?



    EDIT: I've just disabled BBCode for my post so this should work providing it's pointing at a URL and image

    Same here. I would say the site dev is aware of this as there were changes to the voting system in that there isn't place to enter your Minecraft name if you are logged in when voting.
