Interesting.... What part am I "stealing" again?
prove however way that I am "farming" XP's in such...
All I did was post a link to the main source on a "forum"

Its quite an interesting map, I can't wait for Far Cry 3 to come out! couple more weeks

I guess someone uploaded a copy into their mediafire account and added it to their own download link to gain popularity and gain XP as well as Levels for this.

Almost a day later and was hoping a mod maker would have taken up this challenge.
I would have taken up this myself and learn how wouldn't be a bad idea to start somewhere and learn a thing or two, but my problem is focus and patience can't finish something I started in a way. (which was why I quit college in computer science)
It has been a day and for something as simple as this I'm surprised nobody has taken up on this, I don't want XP or recognition. Whoever makes this gets full recognition for their work, all I'm merely doing is suggestion an idea.

Is it possible to copy an existing block in Minecraft file somewhere say wooden stairs and retexture and rename it as well as change the ID# Then it would come out exact same as wooden stairs but using different textures and name? Also being crafted the same way?

You know how you craft wood into stairs among other materials in similar ways. The idea is to do the same with dirt/grass dirt, taking into consideration when crafting them.
Is this possible for someone with knowledge in modding?

Actually wouldn't be a bad idea to craft same into half slabs either that would be awesome too...

I took a look at your Extoris Island, pretty interesting style of mapping. I noticed what you were talking about its interesting but I still like to see complete full step style as the other original steps as is.

With the latest update in minecraft towards enabling corner stairs, it would be quite unique as well using dirt steps or grass steps when creating landscapes.
