I want stairs and slabs of all blocks, pressure plates with all Woods and manny more and new blocks for building. Also I want more decoration like DecoCraft or crayfish furniture. maybe some new Mobs,more commands ...

and to all pvp-pros aka noobs:
I don't think 1.9 ruins pvp, it implements it to the game as it wasn't in the game before.
the "pvp_pros" are only good in click-spamming but this has nothing to do with strategy.
in 1.9 you Need to think and make fast decisions and now everybody can see
that the pvp-pros are complete noobs so they hate this update!

this might work but cost lots of ressources
the /gamerule doMobSpwaning false command is way faster and easier

but you Need to tick allow cheats in the generating Settings before creating the map otherwise the /gamerule doesn't work!

these socalled "Goofy blocks" are Mobs actually called slimes.
they drop slime balls if you kill them

to answer your question:
if you create a new flat map, select generate structures so it says OFF
then immediatly after you spwan type in /gamerule doMobSpawning false so that no animals spawn in. For disabling the Mobs just set difficulty to peacefull.
