Your girl got herself a (nearly) full time job secured for this summer to save up for college (big financial ouch if you live in America), so I'll be pretty busy even after the end of the school year. I may also try to take a college class this summer to get ahead on credit, but they'll have to be night classes since I'm working during the day

Being an adult will be yuck

Better income + college education is nice

If you want to argue with someone, be willing to listen to them. You may think you have the upper hand when you keep repeating your opinions, but it just makes you sound dumber. It doesn't matter if you've done your research. It doesn't even matter if you're objectively right. Ask the person about what they think. This doesn't mean taking on their belief necessarily, but it allows the person to express where they're coming from which leads to a more fruitful discussion.

I got pretty mad listening to an argument at school where one party was just saying what they believed over and over again, saying that the other party needed to do more research. Listen to each other please

I'm not getting banned from Discord >:D

I thought I was inherently unbannable as I don't do bannable stuff, but having my identity stolen and used almost did it. Thankfully, the REAL Discord support helped me out, said there was no reason for me to be banned, and said that I'm all good!

Yes!! Be yourself, be your friend's valentine, whatever. Valentine's day is not exclusively for couples, but can be celebrated with people you love in different ways! Yes, I'm in a relationship at the moment, but in previous years, I made the realization that the day can be enjoyed regardless

Besides, isn't Valentine's day just elevated consumerism? I'm just gonna buy candy when I want, I don't need to wait for some holiday for that >:D

This "support" guy was in fact a scammer. He was begging me to steal my parent's credit card to make a payment to him so he could fix my account. Of course I didn't fall for that, so I took to emailing Discord directly. The ACTUAL Discord Support is amazing. They informed me that yes, this is a scammer and that this scam has been happening a lot lately. I'm still discussing the possibility of my ban with Support and I'm not sure how much was real and how much was a plea to urgency by the scammer, but it's actually looking good

Stay safe on the internet guys. Though I quickly got suspicious, I had more trust in this guy than I would any normal user as he claimed to be a staff member and even had a legitimate seeming LinkedIn page attached to his account. Always always ALWAYS be suspicious when a private party asks for your payment information. Had I been smarter with it, I would have emailed Discord first, but now I'm glad I had this experience so I can spread awareness about this frightening scam

This should be my penultimate post about the issue as I will probably hear from Discord that I am in the clear. Otherwise, I will hear that I'm banned and I will say that. Either way, after this last step, it's over

Yet another update on the whole Discord situation. There are two things fishy about this whole thing, one of them being very obvious. First off, I was being pushed to give online payment information so I could make a purchase to prove that I am the legal owner of the account. First off, anyone could do that, so it really DOESN'T prove my identity and just seems like a way to get my money (I said no to doing this)

Second, the account has been marked with the tag [​Scammer] which I don't know what the heck that is about, but after asking for my payment information, this makes sense

Follow up on my last post, Discord Support has been awesome. They are doing everything they can to make sure that my account doesn't get banned. I am very thankful for their help even in the case that I get banned

As someone who was raised with a bunch of Barbie dolls, I inherently am able to walk in heels. My friends and I always walked on our toes because we thought that it was the pretty way to walk, so those 5 inch heels aren't scaring any of us >:D

Do I like the fact that I and many others were raised with that beauty standard? No, but I'm thankful that I can get into a full sprint in heels because of years of experience xD

It's probably embarrassing that I absolutely jam out to any song I like in public, but there's too much going wrong in life not to let that moment be a happy one
