i am terrified of getting a teeth filling if i ever get a cavity i will just let it lay waste to my gum line i'm not putting anything metal in there 90% of adults over 20 get a cavity only 4 more years and until i will almost certainly get a cavity noOOo
Believe it or not I think it really depends on genetics more than anything. Ask your parents/relatives if they have gotten cavities and how often if they have. But trust me even if you do get a cavity, metal in your mouth isn't bad. I've had lots of metal in my mouth for years... never bothers me. But metal isn't the only option for cavities! There are other solutions for minor cavities. But from my experience, as someone who eats some sort of sugar every day, only does minimal brushing twice a day, and has still never gotten a cavity, you should be fine.
