I can build rather big, if I'm in groups. I could teach you some things on building, I've built about 2 rather big things, But what I'd really advise you to do is try to make something big yourself, even if you don't have any experience. That's how you get experience, or just good techniques. Everybody has their own thing that marks their buildings, whether it's a couch in every room, or it always has a moat, or a huge underground city/sewer, everybody has one. Sometimes I get bored and overwhelmed making big things, so I build small, a regular house, and then upgrade it, and upgrade it some more, and so on. Before you know it you'll have a mansion! Once you understand the basics of building, you should apply for the Voxel Box (A server all about building)
