The Prophecy Network Recruitment Thread
Welcome to the Recruitment thread of The Prophecy!
The Prophecy foretold that one day a beast will tear through the depths of the dark waters and challenge the mightiness of the fore said heroes of the world, these heroes will end up united to fight the beast till it is no more.... Will you help fight the beast?
Goals
- Have a dedicated team of staff.
- Become a successful and well-known network.
- Run off and for the community!
- Have a full-fledged story and background to the whole network to give it more of a "Wow" factor.
- Have good builders across the network.
- Have the Best Community Ran Server Network!
The Plan
Here at The Prophecy we are planning to have this network built fast and updated very often. We are doing this for the Minecraft Community so we will need lots of ideas for the network. We plan on keeping everything organized and under a schedule so players could easily follow events. We want to give the players the best experience they could ever possible have on the server so we are going to have TONS of events for players to prosper and we will have tons of things that we are sure players will enjoy. On the network there will be four main categories of types f servers, 1:PvP Related Servers, 2.Build Servers, 3. MiniGame Servers, 4. Peacefull types of gamemodes. We also might add more but we are not completely sure what else to add. Within the categories there will be tons of servers that will fit the players chosen path! There will be many things to do around the network, you can play on all of the fantastic servers, you can help build for us, you can even get your server sponsored on The Prophecy! We are planning lots for this network and this is why we need you! The PMC community to help us on this journey to defeat the Kraken!

Responsibilities:
- Be active
- Report bugs, balancing issues, and play our games under a whitelist.
Manager Positions
Network Manager
Available Positions: 1
Responsibilities:
- Takes over when the network founders aren't available.
Coordinator
Available Positions: 4
Responsibilities:
- Make sure all is well on the network.
- Introduce the new staff to the network.
- Organizes well prepared events.
Network Staff Positions
GFX Artist
Available Positions: 3
Will be creating custom GFX for the server. (logos, icons, buttons, etc.)
Developer
Available Positions: 3
Will be developing Bukkit / Spigot & BungeeCord plugins or the network’s website.
Requirements:
- Good at HTML, CSS, and JS. (for web developer)
- Good at Java & Bukkit and/or BungeeCord APIs. (for plugin developer)
Social Engineer
Available Position: 1
Will be keeping social media up to date, will keep the network updated on any MC News.
Builder
Available Positions: 6
Will be working alongside some of Minecraft’s top builders to build structures and worlds for the network.
Moderator:
Available Positions: 8
Will be working to make sure the players are having a good experience
Advertisers:
Availiable Positions: Unlimited
We need many advertisers to spead the word about the Kraken! These advertisers will be given special items for advertising!
YouTube Staff Positions
Staff positions for the network’s YouTube channel, videos will be posted to The Cluster’s YouTube channel, not yours.
YouTube Director
Available Positions: 2
You will be making sure content is being created well and all videos are running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Be very active to be able to direct videos when needed.
- Be creative and work amazingly with others.
YouTube Editor
Available Positions: 1
Edit videos and check for quality before uploading to channel.
Requirements:
- Good amount of editing skills.
- Any good editing software. (Final Cut Pro, Sony Vegas, After Effects, etc.)
YouTube Actor
Available Positions: 6
You will be acting in videos depending on which position you choose.
Requirements:
- Good quality microphone.
YouTube Filmer
Available Positions: 4
Will film all videos for the network and send them to the editor.
Requirements:
- Good quality screen recorder.
- Preferably a computer that can handle Shaders at at least 30FPS while recording.
YouTube Script Writer
Available Positions: 4
Write scripts and come up with ideas for machinimas.
Requirements:
- A creative personality.
- Speak and type with proper, and fluent English/Grammar.
- Relatively large vocabulary.
