Why do you want to help: I've been out of the minecraft scene too long, I'd like to be a part of this community again.
What Position?: Preferably a position that does something significant.
Experiences (Server names if possible)

Clear Mist minecraft server
Worldstone Network (network helper until I quit Minecraft)
Almora 1.0, and the Almora project.
The two day server project: Dionia
Beefs MC? The owner was fairly inexperienced but I ca provide an ip since it's still up afaik.

And there's more, but what I've listed should suffice.

Types of language you use : English, I can adhere to a no swearing policy if you choose to enforce that.
How much time will you spend for a day on the server ? : 2-3 hours, depending on whether I am working that day or whether I am going to tafe.
Can you help with plugins?(If so you will get a addition of percentage to get accepted) : Yeah for sure, I've owned and managed servers.

Laughs, believe this guy if you want, but I'd say get a Xeon processor over anything else any day when you have dedicated graphics, It's what I did and it runs most of the latest games at full settings at around 50-60 fps
running minecraft at around 600 fps because minecraft :p

Xeon processors are used in servers and workstations because the don't have inbuilt graphics, making them much more powerful for gaming when used alongside a dedicated graphics card, if you didn't already know you would pay about 50-100$ more for the same performance on an intel i-processor than you would on the equivalent Xeon processor (because they don't have inbuilt graphics making them cheaper and more powerful for their real job).

Xeon processors are amazing for their price, they allow you to keep your computer on for longer, and don't have in built graphics so that you get ALL the processing power you should, not just the half you get from the intel I-series, all the time being generally great cpus.

Actually, Xeon processors are fairly cheap, and they aren't just server/workstation cpus
They are relatively powerful for their price. Your stats seem OK, so I would have payed about 500 - 700 to build that computer, depending on where you go, The processor is basically what is letting you down.

I'm seventeen, I live in Australia (I know, you said the U.S) and I saw this, and I thought, This is my guy, he sounds awesome!, I play LoL, but that shouldn't worry you because I won't bother you about it since you wouldn't play on the oceanic based server, I do however play Minecraft a fair bit, and I am trying to expand my library of games I do play, I use Skype, and my Skype name is "`` Rice Wine ´´" (make sure to include the ``´´) and I reckon, that I would get on with you fairly well, and if you think being in Australia is too far away, then I'm sorry for bothering you

Applying for: Possibly mod, maybe coder (I'm a fairly new coder so probs not ahaha) I can build fairly well if you don't mind me being up myself

Why you'd like to join? Because I have a fair amount of free time, and if this becomes a moderately sized server (125 average people) I'd love to help out because having only a few moderators can be tough, I'm also Australian so I can be on at times other people cannot.
Time you can dedicate to us: From 5-10 hours a week and maybe longer if I get really into it

as a server owner and long time minecraft player i can safely
say minecraft should have stopped updating at 1.7.3......in the
BETA because not only was the minecraft community the best
back then but the game was a at its peak so enjoy the game
while it lasts.. you don't know mojang might make a huge mistake
and include something really terrible in the update

Ok i think I have the solution you want ^.^

and to fix this issue you should start minecraft before
you connect to the internet so that you can select
"play offline" instead of selecting "play" and then
just connect to the internet and join your server
how easy is that??

If you really want a mod that can make your life in minecraft
more interesting i would look at hexxit, its a mod pack to be
precise and you can get it through the technic launcher
