if you want make a java texture pack, there is the solution: mob it`s don`t so easy, but i know the basic, if you not know how take the original texture for edit it. you need open the java file with Winrar, go into assets/minecraft/textures. if you want edit weapons, you need go into "items" folder, if you want edit mobs, go into the "enity" folder, some files inside the "enity" folder, has more folders, with names and .png files these enities/mobs folders, it's for mistify the enities/folders, like horse, coz he has more than 1 race, but on "items" it's simple, just .png files for edit, i recomend Paint.net portable... but if you wanna make a Bedrock texturepack, srry man i can't help you.. but good luck! =D
