I am watching a YouTube video with headphones in the dead of night, suddenly the volume increases by a whole 6 decibles with no warning. Crying and shaking, I try to remove my headphones, but I can't keep my arms steady enough to get a solid grip. My ears become waterfalls of blood, my delicate hearing obliterated forever as I accept the foreboding lifetime of deaf solitude. As my vision begins to tunnel, I crack my knuckles and reach for the keyboard to type my last words, "loud = funny". I die a martyr, remembered by my peers as a pillar of justice. The townsfolk celebrate my life, and a statue is erected in my honor bearing the quote of my groundbreaking words. YouTube subsequently bans sound in videos.
