You did, you help me alot in knowing where to dig in! now I just need to find a tutorial from MCstacker haha. I had completely overlooked Testforblock.
Sadly though I'm already using tripwire hooks for actual tripwire traps in the dungeon - it fit the theme of it. I guess I can take another item and remodel it? Or make a completekly new model and add as a resourcepack, which I'm learning right now.
I didn't get the "testfor can watch the item at a player" bit though?
That would be insanely hopeful! I am motivated but meeting barriers like these makes it hard to keep it up. Add me on discord and we can chat about it in detail. :)
That's what I try to do but I just don't know where to look. I've reached some but, I also get responses where they assume I know everything about NBT tags and so on, which I don't. I am close but just need a thorough tutorial of some sort.
That map looks interesting and I'll visit your Youtube!
Interesting, optical illusions? like what? I'd love to join but I'm not a master of redstone/command blocks, though willing to learn, I like to come up with ideas.
This seems really interesting, I can work alot with this. Thanks! Bonus question, my map is currently in MC 1.9.4. Once I tried moving from 1.8.9 where I originally created it and all sort of bugs happened.
Is it safe to move to 1.13 with my map - like do I have to change alot of commands - and do MCstacker have more options at 1.13?
I have a thousand questions and don't want to spam forums, so just wonder where to look for a collected sort of guideline to learn more advanced Minecraft stuff?
Thanks for the warm welcome! :) Yeah I'm one old-timer, I'm discovering so much right now. For custom stuff, say if I want something like custom mobs/animations for stuff in vanilla Minecraft, which is the best forum/site to look, either to learn myself or for people who knows how to?
For example, make one mob ride another mob, and together their custom skins creates a whole new mob. (I'm quite a MC noob so might be better ways to do it)
