Help/JavaEdition How Can I Use Optifine Required Resource Packs With Sodium?

Well, I forgot that i made this help question.

I will give you what I found about it.

There are ways to make them work together but it doesn't make fps better.
It actually makes it worse.
I will talk about my nether piglin farm

Normal MC: 40 FPS at max
Optifine: 60 FPS at max
Sodium: 75 FPS at max
Optifine + Sodium: 25 FPS at max

You see, it makes it worse than normal.

If you want to try it there is a fabric mod that works as a bridge between sodium and optifine. (Don't remember the name)
I tried this at 1.16.5 you can go and try as well.

Well this man is not wrong but not right too.

You can use resource packs like this person said and it will be something already existing as well too but there are ways you can make things all different. I'm not used to make data packs so I can t give you super ideas but there is a way for making things.


1. About blocks you can use armor stands' head part. You can summon invisible and invincible armor stands which has the block model what you made for special block. You can use this using custom texture data. I'm not into making blocks so I can't help about this part.
2. You can make special craftings with droppers or item drop system. If you look for special names or blocks you can get the data of blocks or data of items, so you can use this for craftings.
3. To make your data pack's working soft you should use /schedule command. Be sure to use ^u^
4. You can make dimensions and special buildings with the help of structure blocks. There are some web sites that generates commands for you about dimensions as well.
5. You can make right click detection with "carrot on a stick" item. You should use scoreboards for this.
6. You can make advancements. There are online generators for this too.

What you say makes sense and actually I will add some things for who doesn't know how coding works for mobs in Minecraft:

1. They must add the mob itself (in coding first thing for adding something is adding that thing itself as taht thing in modeling and other files)
2. They must make the movements
3. There must be an AI for mob that allows it to walk freely or attack or do whatever it takes
4. Other mobs or blocks or fluids should work with this mob in some way
5. Textures and animations should be good looking for the mob to be effective in player's eyes
6. The general visions and acts and codes should be changed based on the mob for player or other mobs. Well actually for everything ..! [​What I mean in visions is when you spectate that mob what you see. Some mobs can be different than others]
7. If there are new things coming with that mob, they should make an debug for other mobs AI system to work properly with this mob.
There are more for sure but this is generally it. What we see in new update videos are just some animations or change of ready mobs movement or easy coding from mods so it doesn't work well in real codes. So don't make things hard for Mojang and just vote before playing. That's it.

Well if they were give you how that mob works than it would be a waste of feelings for game. Think like if you played with Warden before real updates and it wasn't voted but you liked it. So you would be unhappy and feeling bad. It's another issue why they don't do this. [​I know Warden will not be coming with votes. Just as example]

Think about something like "Community Biomes" or "Planet Biomes" and so :D [​If you use this names just write there my name as "father of title" as well :D]

Lightning Biome;
- Will be similar to mountains
- Copper will be found there the most (You can add copper with your mod if you don't want to make 1.17 snapshot mod)
- Lightnings will spawn at least once in a day
- Weather will be rainy all the time
- There will be disasters
- Ah and there will be a place for redstone lovers (Like a redstone castle)

-> It's like hard [​Because of disasters] but i believe it's cool. You don't have to add just say good idea or not. In the future you can think adding i mean..:D
