I'm always trying to find some way to make good skins, while staying true to my style (which usually sits within a dark and spooky realm). I've made things before that aren't spooky (and I will make just about anything), but they don't hold the same kinship with my style. That said, I want my content to be relevant to those that take a liking to my content, so after some thought as I sat in front of my computer, I decided to create something a bit different than my usual monster. Instead I created a "fear", more specifically, I gave Social Anxiety a face. Minecraft is a game that can be used for a plethora of gameplay purposes. But to one degree or another, ultimately it is a game about overcoming the odds. At first you start out with nothing to call your own, but as time progresses and you become equipped with the skills and tools you need, you become more and more capable to fight and deal with more difficult enemies. Some people might not understand, but social anxiety is a very difficult enemy to defeat. The overwhelming fear of other's judgement, and anxiety of what could be going through the other person's mind can be crippling. If you deal with social anxiety, or have in the past, know that you're not alone. While having a personified depiction of Social Anxiety may not decrease the struggle in real life, hopefully it reminds you to never give up, and brings your attention back to hating the real enemy (instead of yourself).
On a more artistic note, the eyes used on the middle cube and the blaze's rods come in the four colors you typically see: blue, green, amber, and brown. Hopefully this won't be the only skin I can come up with for this "Fear Series". Time will tell.
