Mourner

The Mourner is an anomalous entity that inhabits the spaces between universes. It has no known place of origin, but has been observed to frequent "abandoned" universes and inter-universe (liminal) spaces. The entity possesses high-level hearing, potentially communicating via unsettling, melodic tones. However, it is highly sensitive to bright light. While the Mourner is not actively hostile, it should be avoided lest confrontations cause it to fear attack travelers.
