"After many years of being used in battle, after many foes were struck down by it the old weapon was in it's prime when it's wielder was struck down and was lost to the ages, but a many millennia's later an adventurer had found the lost weapon... that adventurer was you!" This weapon was inspired by Molag Bal's rusted mace in Skyrim. The little story in the beginning (if it wasn't entirely obvious already) was the skins lore.
