Lost history has revealed of an expedition of miners spelunking hundreds of caves, when Diamonds were first discovered. This mass mining event was known simply as the Diamond Rush, and of a specific skeleton crew known to utilize gunpowder to detonate caves for these valuable minerals was at that rush.

This organization of miners were known to be religious, creating a cult of beliefs that diamonds would enlighten the human mind, body, and spirit. They became so fanatical of their belief, that they would commit suicide with the TNT in order to relinquish more diamonds to their cult; it being considered the greatest honor and the ultimate test to become enlightened.

Eventually, all the miners of this cult perished, through either means of cave-ins, murder for the greed of diamonds by the hands of others, or suicide. As their lives ended, so too did the rush for diamonds as they became more common, the value for the gem dropped.

But lately, miners have been reporting sights of orange lights in the darkness of the mines, some even claim to see what would be a human body meshed with a block of TNT. Oddly enough, these mysterious sightings have only be claimed to have been seen in mines, and where diamond is commonly found.

Could this be the ghosts of the diamond cult, protecting the diamonds for themselves? Or possibly they have returned, reaching their enlightenment?...
