this datapack doesn't add much its just something that some people might like for survival.
this datapack makes all tridents unbreakable, that's it.

In vanilla survival if you get a trident early game you probable wont have mending so the trident is nearly useless, because is will just end up breaking and you probably don't want that because it is a rare drop so, that is what this datapack fixes.

it also makes trident names yellow :)
