I suggest to start copying the txt text document (mods/mcheli assets/mcheli/planes) of a vehicle that has similar characteristics with the vehicle you want to add and modify the values. To link the documents it is necessary that they all have the same name, the important ones are 3:
TXT: (mods/mcheli assets/mcheli/plans)
Texture: (mods/mcheli assets/mcheli/texture/planes)
Model: (mods/mcheli assets/mcheli/model/planes)
