Don't click download mod --------------------------->
get it here at my minecraft forums thread: bit.ly/superhardcoremode
Hey guys! I have made this little mod to make your game a little more... interesting.
I always found myself bored in Minecraft, after playing for a few hours you have the game mastered, and have no trouble doing anything, right? Not anymore!
Summary:
This mod basically makes things harder. When you would normally craft something and have multiple of the output item, that amount is now reduced (ex: crafting a fence no longer yields 2, just 1). To top that off, you have a maximum of 6 hearts (It still shows 4 empty hearts, not sure how to fix that), and some main mobs are stronger. This goes well with hardcore mode!
Installation and Compatibility:
This mod is not the most compatible one out there, but the point of it is to play vanilla but harder anyway, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. It overwrites 7 default classes, so any other mods writing over those will take out features of this. If another mod overwrites one of these classes, it won't corrupt the whole mod! I have designed it so every class is independant, so overwriting one class might just take out the revised creeper health, or player health, or take out the reduced crafting. Overwriting any number of classes won't break the mod, just take out certain features.
You do NOT need modloader for this to work!
It is just installed normally, inside the .zip there is a folder called "put in minecraft.jar", open that folder and drag the contents into your minecraft.jar. There are plenty of tutorials out there for installing mods, I don't feel like writing a whole thing...
If you guys send me messages describing what other mods take out what features of this mod (such as: using zombes mod pack disables the extra skeleton health. < just an example, I don't actually know) I can put that here and put your name with it.
Current incompatibilities:
None yet/unknown.
