What is this?

Precisely what it says on the tin. This mod adds vertical slabs to the game, one for each type of vanilla slab. They work the same way as normal slabs, and form double slabs when placed together on the same block. Except, ya know, they're vertical instead of horizontal.

Types of Vertical Slabs:
  • Smooth stone
  • Stone brick
  • Brick
  • Cobble
  • Sandstone/Red sandstone
  • Quartz
  • Purpur
  • Oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak


And they're crafted like this. Substitute the material of your choice to get the corresponding slab.

Fixed a placement issue with the slabs, allowing you to stack them.

Wondering if you could test something for me. Do vertical slabs act as ablative protection in the same manner that horizontal slabs do against explosive damage? (meaning: only the slab will be destroyed, saving the blocks behind it from being damaged?)

I am currently using the Magic Launcher to launch this mod. When I add it, it says there are no mods found, and I don't see any modifications when I launch the game. Do I need a mod loader?
