Introducing The Minecraft Student Mod!



Just in time for the new school year! Become a better student and earn Diamonds by playing Minecraft and answering math questions based on your grade level. More grades and subjects coming soon.

I wrote this mod because my kids boycotted summer workbooks, and thought playing Minecraft would be a more fun way to retain the math they learned. This mod is best for retention and learning multiplication where repetition is one of the best ways to learn and remember.

This mod is not a competitor of MinecraftEdu. Where MinecraftEdu is geared toward classroom use, this mod is much smaller and focused on the Student's single player solo play at home or in the computer lab.

Features


* Randomly generates math questions based on the student's grade.
* Configurable grade levels 1-4. Default grade 1. More grades coming soon.
* Configurable minutes between questions. Default 3 min between questions.
* Gives the player increasing rewards in Single Player based on correct streaks.
* Free and Open Source!

I'm working on custom question feature right now. Where you can define mulitple-choice questions with images. Which should allow you to create question packs for all of these subjects.

This isn't useful and it doesn't prevent kids from being crazy. This mod is the complete opposite of what you can call a game.

This is only useful, if you want to get better at something. Kind of like typing games that help you learn how to type.

This mod is for people that want to improve themselves, while also having fun. It's not ment to ruin the game for you, if you don't like it don't use it :)
