Hi,
This is my very first mod that I have made, it adds a number of new ores, items and recipes.
I am working on this mod with MCGlata, we are both amateur Java coders but hope to add more ores, tool, recipes even new liquids and mobs. This mod is almost bug free and is easy to install, just a drag and drop of the files.
Install tutorial:
The only file you will need to download, or if you already have it, use is a program to open a .rar file such as 'Winrar'. Open up run, while in run type; %appdata% then open '.minecraft'. Inside you will see all sorts of files, we are only interested in the 'bin', open up the 'bin' file. Then right-click on the 'minecraft.jar' and click on 'Open with -> Winrar'. there will be a META-INF file, delete it because the mod won't work. Then open up the 'awesomeores.rar' file. Select all files (except 'Readme.txt') and drag them into the 'minecraft.jar' Say 'yes' to everything it says and you are done.
The ores are (From most common to rarest):Copper,
Tin,
Mithril,
Thorium,
Adamantite,
Cobalt,
Saronite.
New Items:
Tin Cans,
Copper Tools,
Mithril Armour,
Ham Block, (Works like cake)
Grenade Launcher. (Has infinite ammo)
