Minecessity

There were stuffs which you couldn't have.
nThere were things that you couldn't do.
nThere were crazy ideas that you could never think of.
nAnd dreams that couldn't happen.
nBut not anymore, with Minecessity, you'll be satisfied

This mod at to nMinecraft necessary things that are missing from the vanilla game, nthings that can help the player in many big/small aspects.
nAnd here they are.

Install Instruction
If the first time starting the game doesn't work, try again, 2nd time will work.
nRisugami's instruction

Windows:
n1) Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata%
n2) Browse to .minecraft/bin
n3) Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
n4) Drag and drop the necessary files into the jar.
n5) Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
n6) Run Minecraft, enjoy!

nMacintosh:
n1) Go to Applications>Utilities and open terminal.
n2) Type in the following, line by line:

cd ~
mkdir mctmp
cd mctmp
jar xf ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar

n3) Outside of terminal, copy all the files and folders into the mctmp directory.
n4) Back inside terminal, type in the following:
rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*
jar uf ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
cd ..
rm -rf mctmp

n5) Run Minecraft, enjoy!

great idea, if i wasnt on a laptop i would download it, and I may do it anyway!

anyways.. ideas:

drill? you could place it and it would automatically dig down to bedrock with 100% block return

waterwheel: if placed in running water couldbe a power source

retractable bridge: block that sends out planks 10 blocks in a direction (or until hitting something) then retracts them when power is turned off

elevator? sort of like bridge but set to a pulser?

lightning rod? attracts lightning and produces power during a storm?

if you use any of these could you put my name in credits?

Looking back, the drill and waterwheel would look too much like copies (from BTW and buildcraft) and an elevator would just be a bridge pointing up... the rest still stand imo, hope you think of adding them!
