Awesome Mod - Written for ModJam 2013

Hello everybody, this is a mod I made for ModJam 2013, the inspiration for this mod is Awesome, there is a slight difference between the version I submitted and this version because I decided to release it and keep updating it like all my other mods, isn't that great?
Current version: Alpha v0.3 for Minecraft 1.5.2 (NOTE: Download for this version is available only through a mirror)
This mod adds a variety of different blocks which currently serve mostly decorative purposes.
News on the Update: PlanetMinecraft just loves going SNR for about 15 minutes whenever I try to upload the new update for my mod, so I think I will just hook up a mirror, should be up shortly :D.

The blocks that are added by this mod have neat-looking glowing properties.
This mod can be split into three categories of content that it adds:
World Generation:
World generation plays a huge part in this mod, in fact, without these world features, there would be no way to progress in the different crafting recipes added by this mod. The world generation added by this mod currently consists of two features, one being the Awesome Ores shown in the first and second screenshot. The second world generation feature added by this mod is called the "Awesome Room" which is a 5x5 room built out of awesome blocks with a chest inside as seen in the screenshots 3 and 4(note that it is not the awesome blocks emitting light).
Smelting:
Smelting is a minor part of this mod, which adds a perquisite of ores requiring to be smelted into gems before being able to be used in crafting and the ability to create dark extract by smelting coal which I will get to in the next sub-section.
Crafting:
Crafting is a big part of this mod, in fact, without crafting, there would have been only one way to get all the other components of this mod(hint - Awesome Rooms Chest-), there is a variety of different craftable materials/tools:
Firstly, if you combine any iron tool/armor piece with four black awesome gems(smelted black awesome ore) in order to get the corresponding piece as follows:
Surrounding a stone block with 4 black awesome gems yields awesome block as follows:
Now, the first thing you notice is that black awesome gems are used for everything this just about anything, so, I have added a recipe to get it from any awesome gem, you remember the dark extract, right? Well, I hope you do, as if you surround 1 dark extract with 8 awesome gems, you will get 8 black awesome gems, now I hear you ask, "if you can craft black awesome gems in an 8:8 ratio, then why not be able to craft them in a 1:1 ratio?", well, the answer to that is quite simple, the dark extract is way too powerful for just 1 simple gem to handle it as it runs on light energy(feature spoiler) and it will simply shatter if so much dark energy would flow into it. The recipe is as follows:
Surrounding an awesome block with 8 awesome gems of any color(one color per recipe) yields a standard-textured awesome block of the corresponding color as follows:
A similar thing can be done, but using 2 gunpowder on the top and bottom in addition to being able to craft standard-textured awesome blocks, and that yields a creeper-textured awesome block as follows:
Crafting - Furniture:
Furniture is a small, still work-in-progress feature of this mod which will eventually turn into one of the main aspects of this mod. Currently there are only two features added in the furniture part of this mod, the tables, which are crafted in the following manner using either wooden planks or stone:
and the chairs(still kind of WIP[I am working on making them mountable]) also with wooden planks or stone as follows:
Additionally to all the above recipes, I have added a recipe which is a signature of each of my mods, I have added fuj1n's Head crafted as follows:
This next one is an important tool, it is the rotation tool, it is currently used to rotate chairs and configure light generators which are still WIP and are yet to get renamed, it is crafted as follows:
The light generator will have a crafting recipe in an upcoming release.

The Awesome Mod is an open source Minecraft mod released under version 3 of the GNU Lesser General Public License. What this means is that the source of this mod is publicly available and you have certain rights with respective to the code. 1) you have the right to have access the source code of the mod,
