Features:
- Edit your textures using a texture sheet just like you did before Minecraft 1.5!
- Automatically detects what resolution the sheet is at.
- Keyboard shortcut "PauseBreak" to start Re-/Unstitching the sheet.
- User friendly customisable text files that contain the name of the textures.
- Ability to create texture sheets using your blocks and items texture folders.
Info:
The Texture Unstitcher is an application for texture pack creators. Because Mojang changed how texture packs work by making every texture a seperate png file, we came up with an alternative. By using this application you can work on your texture pack the old and better way.
What this application simply does is it uses the sheet to make a .png of each texture separately for Minecraft to be able to read it. This means you can now simply just work on the texture sheet as seen below with GIMP, Photoshop or whatever you prefer.
This application also features a restitcher mode which does the complete opposite. It will merge all seperate texture files into a texture sheet.
More Info:
If you would like more info, like a detailed tutorial on how to use and customise this application, please go to the Minecraft Forum's post about this app, here: www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1701538-21-texture-unstitcher-its-just-like-working-on-terrainpng-and-itemspng-again-windowsmaclinux/
