Intro

Welcome to the Arachnid Ascendancy mod, this mod adds in some new spiders and spider structures to add some more challenges to Minecraft without removing the vanilla feel.

Spiders

Spider Queen: The Spider Queen is a boss spider that does 8 damage, and has 80 health, the Spider Queen only spawns in the Underground Spider Nest, and upon being defeated will spawn multiple mini spiders, as well as, dropping various different ore ingots, and even has the chance to drop diamonds, in addition the Spider Queen will drop an egg for the Spider Minion.

Mini Spider: The mini spider is a tiny spider that only spawns in the Underground Spider Nest the mini spider deals only 1 damage and has 4 health, but do to it's small size the mini spider is very hard to hit.

Stone Spider: The stone spider is a light grey spider that will occasionally spawn in caves or most over world biomes, the stone spider has 32 health, deals 6 damage, is immune to cactus, fire, potion, wither, arrow and dragon breath damage, as well as, dropping stone, spider eyes, and string upon being defeated.

Desert Spider: The desert spider is a sand colored spider that can spawn in the desert, or in the Desert Spider Nest, the desert spider has 16 health, does 3 damage, and drops sand, spider eyes, and string upon being defeated.

Shadow Spider: The shadow spider is black, with red eyes, very hard to see, can spawn in most over world biomes, has 16 health, deals 3 damage, and will drop black dye, ink sacks, string, and spider eyes upon death.



Sentinel Spider: The sentinel spider is a grey spider with a lightly colored back end, the sentinel spider will fire webs at the player, and has 15 health, the webs do 5 damage to the player, and upon being defeated the Sentinel Spider will drop spider eyes and string.



Spider Minion: The spider minion is a friendly spider that can be used either to farm animals, or using raw meat the spider minion can be tamed and will follow the player around, it has 32 health and does 6 damage, there are no drops for this mob. I have also included two different eggs for the Spider Minion, the one is for creative only, however the second one can be dropped by the Spider Queen.

Structures

Underground Spider Nest: The underground spider nest houses the spider queen, has spawners for mini spiders, and normal spiders. The nest has uneven ground and webs on the outer edges, but the inner area is flatter and has less obstacles, there is also drip stone on the ceiling and more webs.

Desert Spider Nest: The desert spider nest can be found underneath the desert, it has a collapsed stair case, uneven and rough patters, webs, water, and has a diamond black to reward the player for looking for it, there are also two desert spider spawners inside of the cave.
