Description: This mod adds ATVs to Minecraft.

There are three tiers of ATVs based on how powerful the engine is.
Tier 1 is the slowest and Tier 3 is the fastest.

To craft the Tier 1 engine:
ATV MOD {V 1.6} [forge] (1.7.2 / 1.6.4) Minecraft Mod

To craft the Tier 2 engine:
ATV MOD {V 1.6} [forge] (1.7.2 / 1.6.4) Minecraft Mod

To craft the Tier 3 engine:
ATV MOD {V 1.6} [forge] (1.7.2 / 1.6.4) Minecraft Mod




Now that you have an engine, there are some other parts you will need to craft.


To get rubber:








To craft the tire:


To craft the seat:


To craft the handle bars:


To craft the axles:


To craft the wheels:


To craft the body:





Now that you have all the parts, you can craft an ATV.

To craft the Tier 1 ATV:


To craft the Tier 2 ATV:


To craft the Tier 3 ATV:


Now you have an ATV. Right click the ground with the ATV in your hand to place it down. You can get on the ATV by right clicking it. Drive forward with W and reverse with S. Steering is done with the mouse. To get off the ATV press the sneak button (left shift).

Installation:
This is a forge mod. Go to the Minecraft Forge Website
and download the installer for the recommended version of Forge. Make
sure you run Minecraft with the correct version at least once before
installing Forge. Run the installer and choose client. When finished,
launch Minecraft. Create a new profile and choose the Forge version you
installed where it says "version". Run Minecraft again using this
profile. There will be a mods folder in your ".minecraft" directory
after this. Put the ATV mod in the mods folder. Next time you run
Minecraft with Forge, the mod will be running.

I don't have the source code for this mod anymore. If you'd like to look at the code, you'll have to decompile the .jar file.

Fixed ATVs despawning.
Fixed ATVs not working in peaceful mode.
Made rubber easier to get.

so im starting to make the atv. but when i went to look for more sand it keeps crashing on me i realy realy want to use this mod so bad im on 1.7.2 and it wont play it worked fine for a bit then out of no where bam it crashes helps :(

Is there a multiplayer version for this mod? If there is where can i get it?

BTW is it ok if i use this mod in a modpack that i will put up for public download? I will comply with any guidlines and will give credit where I am told.

The version you get here will work for multiplayer. You can use it in a modpack too.

I had just made an atv, when i quit the game. When i re-opened the game and loaded up the world, my atv was gone. Is there a way to fix this bug?

I will check it out, thanks. Haven't seen that happen yet. The atv should never despawn.

Just tried the same thing, atv was still there. Are you using the latest version (1.6)? That would definitly happen with version 1.5. It is a bug I fixed with the latest update.
