Description

ADALINE is an adventure/rpg type of mod. With the addition of powerful items, warriors that fight by your side and the elusive dark matter, you can take on new enemies and bosses.

Warriors: Warriors are soldiers that are tameable if given gold. They will follow you around and defend you. If you toss armor and weapons in their direction, they will automatically equip them.



Bosses:
The bosses in Adaline are all spawned into the world with crafted items that work like spawn eggs. The recipes for those items are below the pictures of the mobs. The first time you attack a boss after spawning it, it will teleport to a random destination within sight of the player.

The ArachniGhast: The ArachniGhast is a powerful boss mob. It is a massive six legged beast with 300 hit points. It is also immune to fire and will launch large exploding fireballs at you in rapid succession. When defeated it will drop either a dark matter staff or a matter generator. The ArachniGhast can only be spawned using the "Summon ArachniGhast" item.


The Lightning King: The Lightning King is a boss mob spawned with the "Summon Lightning King" item. He will begin spawning an army of zombies and skeletons if he sees you. If you hear thunder, you have been spotted and he is summoning his helpers. The Lighting King is very powerful and has 300 hit points. If you take him down, he will drop either a giant anti sword or a book of lightning.



The Continuum Beast: The Continuum Beast is a boss with 300 HP. It is very fast and powerful but does not have a ranged attack. It is spawned with a craftable item just like the other bosses. When defeated, it will drop Time Essence, which is used to craft the Clockwork Rifle.


Time Essence and the Clockwork Rifle: Time Essence is obtained by defeating the Continuum Beast. It is used to craft Clockwork Gears which are a part of the Clockwork Rifle. The Clockwork Rifle is a powerful magic gun. The ammunition for the rifle is an item called the Continuum Round. It is crafted with Darkmatter and Redstone Dust.


Ghosts and the Book of Apparitions: Ghosts are hostile mobs that spawn at night. When defeated, they drop Soul Essence. Soul Essence combined with an enchanted book will give you The Book of Apparitions. This book creates Spectres which destroy nearby hostile mobs. Just look at the ground and use the right mouse button. You will hear strange noises and see shadows, then nearby mobs will begin to die. Spectres cannot survive daylight.



Flame Hawk and Book of Fire: The flame hawk is a bird found in the jungle at night. When killed, it drops flame hawk feathers. Surround an enchanted book with these feathers in the crafting table and you will get the book of fire. A powerful magic weapon. To use the book of fire, hold down the right mouse button and you will hear a dragon growl. Wait a short time, let go and a fireball will shoot out straight ahead of you.





Flame Hawk Pendant: The flame hawk pendant is a magic item. It is crafted with string and fire feathers collected from Flame Hawks. If you use the right mouse button, it will give you a short boost of speed and jumping ability.


Lightning Magic: Lightning magic is derived from shards which you get by mining lightning ore. These are used to make the lightning pendant which adds fire resistance for 20s when you right click with it in your hand. The lightning book is used by holding down the right mouse button with it in your hand. You will hear the Ender Dragon growling. After a moment, let go and a lightning bolt will strike down in front of you to attack your enemy.



Lightning Armor and Sword: The lightning armor and sword are very powerful but not very durable. They are crafted in the usual fashion, using lightning shards. The Lightning Sword uses an iron rod for the handle which is crafted using 3 iron ingots.



Dark Satyr and Heart Magic: The Dark Satyr is a very dangerous mob that spawns at night. You will hear him roaring when he uses fire magic to attack you. If you kill him, he drops hearts which are used to make the Heart Pendant. A magic item that instantly heals you. The heart pendant is used in the same way as the Flame Hawk Pendant and the Lightning Pendant.





Dark Matter: Dark matter is an item acquired by killing matter spiders or matter zombies. It can also be created with the matter generator.

Matter Generator: The matter generator is crafted by surrounding a dark matter staff with anti blocks. When a redstone signal is applied, one item in the generator will be turned into 1 dark matter. The machine has no GUI. You just need to put a hopper on top of it to put items in. You will hear strange noises if the machine is working.




The Dark Matter Staff: The dark matter staff is a projectile weapon that uses dark matter as ammunition. It has a powerful flame/knockback effect.


Dark Matter Mobs: The matter zombie and matter spider are stronger, faster versions of their counterparts. They drop dark matter when killed.


The Book of Destruction: The Book of Destruction is a very powerful magic item. It is used just like the Book of fire or Book of Lightning. It will create massive destruction with explosions and lighting.



Summoning Wolves: You can now summon wolves using a simple magic item crafted from Wooden Rods and the "Undead" item. The "Summon Wolf" item works just like a spawn egg. It will also provide you with 5 bones to tame the wolf.


Gem items: Gem items are crafted using the Gem Tool Material. This is obtained by mining Gemstone Ore. When the ore is mined, you will get gem stones. Smelt the Gemstones to get Molten Gem. Once you have Molten Gem, you have to place it below and iron pressure plate in the crafting table. Now you will have Gem Tool Material. The Gem Tool Material uses all the traditional crafting recipes for tools and armor with the exception of the Double Sided Axe. You can also dye the Gem items blue with Lapis Lazuli. As of version 1.2.8, adding Lapis Lazuli to gem items makes them stronger.


AntiMatter: Anti Ore can be mined and smelted to produce anti ingots; which can be crafted into tools, weapons, armor, and blocks. Anti blocks are used to craft the matter generator and the giant anti sword. Anti ingots are used to craft the dark matter staff. The anti sword has a weakening effect on enemies.

Installation
This is a Forge mod. Download the recommended Minecraft Forge Installer from http://files.minecraftforge.net/. Run the installer and choose client. Put the ADALINE_1.6.4.zip file into the mods folder in your .minecraft directory. Run the normal Minecraft launcher and choose the Forge 1.6.4 profile. Done!
