This mod currently adds 9 animals to all the desert biomes and a few items to boot! These creatures will actively spawn in their associated biomes, so keep an eye out while you're adventuring out in the wild!

Vulture:
Patrolling the skies, the vulture hunts rouge monsters. With their lighting-fast attack and retreat patterns they can easily peck a creeper and retreat before it has a chance to explode!



Cactark:
Cactarks are nomadic desert cactus-people! If found, they have a few trades for desert related goods!

Scorpion:

These creatures are passive during the day, but hostile at night. They have a venomous sting, so be careful when fighting them! You can tame scorpions during the day with sugared flesh (a rotten flesh surrounded with sugar) and, when fully grow, they can be saddled and ridden! Tamed scorpions can be bred with most types of meaty food and healed using sugared flesh!

Hogger:

The Hogger is pin-cushion of a creature, protected by its many needles. These spikes are often shed, periodically falling from the Hogger. Hogger Needles can be used as an alternative to flint for crafting arrows. Though they produce fewer arrows, Hogger Needles can easily be farmed and are a renewable resource! Hoggers can also be bred with seeds!

Kangaroo:

Kangaroos are jolly bouncing creatures! Though passive they aren't afraid to fight back! Watch out for their kick!



Sandworm:
Sandworms glide through the sands of the desert. Only a portion of their body is visible, making them rather hard to spot until its too late! They are aggressive nocturnal creatures that sleep during the day and aggressively hunt during the night.

Sandtick:

Swarming insects of the desert. Though seemingly harmless these creatures can quickly become a bother when in large numbers!

Fennec:

A sand fox, Fennec are skittish creatures that can be bred with berries.

Oryx:

A horned cow that can be milked and bred with wheat.




This mod is a work in progress: I plan on adding 10 new desert themed mobs through this pack! I'll be updating this as I progress through the creation of these mobs, but I'm publishing this now to get some feedback on my work <3. I already have a few ideas planned out for the next few mobs, but any suggestions would be welcome!
