The Bloodstone Mod 1.4.7
This mod requires Risugami's ModLoader for Minecraft.
The mod does not work as an external server mod but it does work for LAN servers provided joining players have the mod as well.

The corrupt logs drop coal and the leaves drop blood. (When eaten blood restores 4 hunger points and can be fed to wolves.)
Posted Image
Deadstone and quartz ore and quartz. (Quartz gives the night vision effect when consumed.)

Antisand, oddstone and voidstone. (Voidstone drops nothing.)

The bloodstone block. It slowly corrupts its surroundings.

Blood bread looks convincingly like bread, no matter what texture pack you use.
Posted Image
When the blood bread is consumed it doesn't restore hunger but instead gives the potion effects of blindness, confusion, and wither poison for a minute. (The player should be dead by then.)

You walk around. Trial and error.

Pretty decent. Not the best I've seen, but certainly better than most mods on here. I'll diamond I suppose. If I could suggest one thing it would be to use forge, not modloader. It's easier in the long run for you as a coder, and you can do more with it.

Sorry but I do not like the way Forge works (way to much to setup in the mod files for such a simple mod), and Modloader does everything I need it to.

Alright, I certainly can't force you, it's your choice. Just my opinion. Hopefully the Modding API will make them both obsolete :D

A very good mod. An idea for you; make a dimension or something, where it's basically like the Nether and the End together; the in-between of Heaven and Hell if you'd like, where there are different stones that look nothing like ones that are found anywhere else. So for example, what should be normal stone is pink, and what should be grass could be black. So basically, it's an opposite dimension.

Cool. I have my own mod to run, but it won't fit, and it could only fit in one mod; this one. Good luck making this the success it deserves to be.
