Bulky is a mod that currently is in a stage of early development.

It features a few items and blocks, including new bottles that allow you to create some drinks like apple juice, coffee and many more. Each drink has its own effects, so watch out which one you'll make and drink. A recommendation by the me, author, is the bottled death. One can even build his/her long wanted igloo using snow bricks. Even crops like lettuce and tomatoes are features!

A basic/ general crafting recipe can be found bellow. Figuring out the recipes for the other drinks shouldn't be that hard.

Instructions, information and the mod file is included inside the downloadable folder.

Ruby and sapphire! They are now very rare. The previous spawn rates were a bug, used for testing purposes.

Could you make this for 1.11 or 1.10? (I really like using newer versions)
So it's like the witchery mod?

All of this looks excelent so far even though I haven't tested it in game yet.
What more editions are you planning to make in this pack or what do you want this mod to be like? I might assist in making sugguestions with you

I really never have anything planned, whenever I have time and an idea or two I just start coding.

I might have a suggestion for some additions. How about some more gemstones? http://www.ofspiritandsoul.com/images/zodiac/Zodiac-Gemstones.jpg At least add Amethyst, Peridot, and Topaz. Maybe even Alexandrite, that would change color depending on the lighting.

Also, would it be alright if you decreased the generation rate of Ruby and Sapphire? They kinda take up a whole cave system...

Is there 2 ways to make the Compressed snow, because I've noticed that you need to have it to make Compressed snow block but the only way to get compressed snow from my knowlage is to use small snow bricks.

There's a way to create compressed snow blocks, which is the following:

AddShapelessRecipe(new ItemStack(snow_smooth), new Object[] { Items.snowball, Blocks.snow});

That's the piece of code that adds the mod's crafting recipe to the game. All you have to do is have one snow block and one snowball in a crafting grid.
I like the cactus juice reference. :D

I have a question....You seem to be very good at modding,do you know how to make the minecraft armor model less fat? you can edit the .json file in a texturepack,only I am not able to do it,I only hav experience with other less-used programming languages,If you are able to figgure it out you are amazing.

Those models are hard coded, meaning you can't alter it using resource packs. I haven't looked into armour yet, so I can't help.

well you can change ladders and even bocks to be round,but not the armor you say.

this is the code for the gold chestplate

{
"parent": "builtin/generated",
"textures": {
"layer0": "items/gold_chestplate"
},
"display": {
"thirdperson": {
"rotation": [ -90, 0, 0 ],
"translation": [ 0, 1, -3 ],
"scale": [ 0.55, 0.55, 0.55 ]
},
"firstperson": {
"rotation": [ 0, -135, 25 ],
"translation": [ 0, 4, 2 ],
"scale": [ 1.7, 1.7, 1.7 ]
}
}
}
Armor counts as an entity so wait til 1.9 and that (might) be possible. (May be different from block codes.)

Yes, notice the "builtin/generated", anything that has that as a parent (e.g chest) can't be changed via resource packs.

Thanks, great mod, BUT how do I drink the juice?

I'm trying to use it like food or other potions but holding the use item button doesn't do anything.

Thanks!

One cannot drink from a bottled drink. You have to remove the bottle cap by simply putting de bottle in a crafting grid. Also, you can't drink when you're not hungry at all.

The amount of effort that you put into your work is amazing! Really good mod. You deserve many diamonds :)

An idea for the snow bricks could be that an igloo would spawn naturally in ice biomes? I don't know, just giving suggestion.

Good luck with your modding in the future!

Interesting, maybe later in development you could add a "thirst" mechanic so that theres more purpose to the drinks rather than a few buffs?

Yes indeed, that would be nice.

Just so you know, I started modding 2 days ago and I've never made a mod before. So that might take me a while to implement.

Really? This is a pretty nifty mod for a very new modder! Usually you see "omg new coal tools", nice job on actually starting a real mod instead of an overdone mod!

Goodluck in in your future modding :D

Thank you, I second your opinion.
If you've got any suggestions, don't hesitate.
I'm currently working on snow bricks, so one can build an igloo.

Oooh snow bricks, I'd make them non-meltable by light sources, so that you can have a torch in your igloo.

I would suggest some sort of thing in the oceans, whether it be a mob or just some seaweed, something to liven it up.

But also because of Christmas and New Year.

I'm most certainly sure this makes up for not updating Default 3D.
