The Classic Light Mod basically goes back in Minecraft and returns to the classic lighting system. This was the time before we had smooth lighting and before changes where made to the light coloring in Minecraft. A lot of people like the older lighting system and the Classic Light Mod will give them back that same experience.
Personally I prefer the new lighting system in Minecraft 1.3.2, since I it just looks better and feels more natural, but when the new lighting system was first implemented into Minecraft I hated it. For me, it had a massive effect on my fraps per second in Minecraft which made the game lag so much more. But since I have a better computer I prefer the new lighting system, so what I am saying is if you get a lot of lag in your game this mod may be for you. As I didno t have as much lag in Minecraft until the lighting system was added.
How to Install:
1. Download Modloader
2. Locate your AppData Roaming Folder
3. Open .minecraft folder then the bin folder
4. Open Minecraft.jar
5. Delete the meta inf
6. Drag in the Modloader files
7. Do the same with the Classic Light Mod files

-I'm now discontinuing this Mod. In 1.5, Jeb will be completely re-writing the lighting engine, meaning there will be no need for this Mod anymore. However you will still be able to use it when the Modding API comes out as that should add backwards compatibility between all Mods. Feel free to use it as you wish, although a little credit would still be nice.

-I'm now discontinuing this Mod. In 1.5, Jeb and Daniel will be completely re-writing the lighting engine, meaning there will be no need for this Mod anymore. However you will still be able to use it when the Modding API comes out as that should add backwards compatibility between all Mods. Feel free to use it as you wish, although a little credit would still be nice.
