Quick Notes


The old chests from CompactChests will convert into the new system so no need to worry.

You now need a chest builder to build chests.

You can change the materials/amounts needed to build chests in the configuration file (config/compactstorage.cfg)

Support (Read before posting about a crash)

  • Have common sense, don't come complaining about an issue in an old version of the mod.

  • Don't complain about old blocks not working in alphas, unless you are testing. DO NOT USE ALPHAS.

  • If there is any issues in Betas like missing blocks or crashes on right click etc, please report them, the same rule as above DOES NOT apply to betas.

  • No support will be given if you don't download the mod from CurseForge, Planet Minecraft or tattyseal.com




    Modpacks

  • Permission does not need to be obtained before using CompactStorage in packs distributed through the FTB Launcher.

  • You cannot put any packs containing my mod past any sites that require the user to wait a time period and look at advertisments (adf.ly, adfoc.us)

  • Please obtain permission before using my mod in a modpack

  • You must remove my mod if I ask, even after permission is obtained.

    Erm..., Sorry to say, but could you do an update that'll keep your backpack from getting into your backpack? I sometimes shove everything from my invintory into it, and I don't get it back. Also, could you fix that issue for not being able to shift click all your items, or is that to prevent getting your backpack into it...?

    I love this mod! I have bein playing this mod for a good time now; but thier is a problem( And only one I could find).  With some of the bigger chest you can't use the shift key short cut to place iteams in the chest after you have so much in it. Maybe you can fix it? Hope you can!

    It won't screw up your mac, if you are talking about the mod. It is open source and contains no viruses or anything like that.

    I think a good update would be to allow all wood types to make the Compact Chests instead of just Oak wood. Just something to think about! Thanks for reading! Sorry if I send this and you are already working on it! :D
