Crafting is a very important mechanic in Minecraft. While some crafting recipes Minecraft has are generally really good (like doors), some crafting recipes are really bad and not beneficial to the player at all (such as stairs).
Introducing: "Crafting Improvements" Datapack!
- Rebalanced Minecraft's Crafting Recipes!
- Can be installed in combination with my other datapacks!
- Can be installed in Multiplayer!
- You can use /trigger info, then click into the datapack name to know more about the datapack!
(It only shows you what you can do without cheats enabled!)
- If you have problems in installing the datapack, try opening the downloaded .zip file, then drag the first thing you see and drop it to the datapacks folder of your world. Works for all my datapacks!
- Use /function #main:remove and follow the instructions to uninstall the datapack completely!
- You can also use /function #main:remove, then delete the old version then install the new version, use /reload afterwards to update the datapack.

Note: I'll regularly update this datapack if I can find more recipes that needs some rebalancing.
You can tell me which one you want to be rebalanced into in the comments.
