Create: Fuel Motor



Create: Fuel Motor is an addon for the Create mod that introduces a new way to generate rotational force using consumable items as fuel no Redstone, no electricity, just fuel and motion!


How It Works



The Fuel Motor block acts as a kinetic power source, similar to Create's existing motors, but powered by items rather than creative or electric means.


Here’s how it functions:


    • Fuel Input: The motor has a built in inventory with 1 fuel slot, accepting any item defined in a custom recipe type (motor_fuel).

    • Automatic Pickup: It can also automatically pick up fuel items dropped nearby, based on a configurable pickup radius.



Burn Time & Stress: Each fuel item defines a burn time (duration of power generation) and stress capacity (how much kinetic load it can handle).


Adjustable Speed: A scroll wheel UI allows you to control the output RPM, with limits configurable via common.toml.







Example Fuel Types:





    1. Coal




        1. Description: A reliable fuel that burns for a long time, providing steady power to your motor.




        1. Burn Time: 900 ticks (45 seconds). 900/20 = 45s




        1. Power Output: 1235 Stress Unit (SU) per tick.






    1. Charcoal




        1. Description: A slightly less efficient alternative to coal, but still a solid choice for early-game power generation.




        1. Burn Time: 900 ticks (45 seconds). ( 900/20 = 45s )




        1. Power Output: 1150 SU per tick.






    1. plank




        1. Description: A basic fuel source, ideal for early-game setups, but burns out quickly.




        1. Burn Time: 100 ticks (5 seconds). ( 100/20 = 5s )




        1. Power Output: 720 SU per tick.






    1. Blaze Powder




        1. Description: A magical fuel that burns with intense heat, providing a short but powerful burst of energy.




        1. Burn Time: 500 ticks (25 seconds). ( 500/20 = 25s )




        1. Power Output: 1934 SU per tick.
