Sometimes 1 or 2, maybe 4, sometimes 5, but never enough glowstone dust. With this mod you'll never have to worry about not having enough glowstone dust from your trips to the nether. And please, if it doesn't work make sure you have deleted META-INF. If you Haven't make sure you do.

Lol, original glowstone can't drop 5 dust, neither can it drop 1. The fact that you can farm glowstone to produce more glowstone than before is not for me. It should be an average of 4 so that it's balanced.

See MightyPork's glowstone seeds mod for an alternative way of farming glowstone.

You should rather post screenshots with the default texturepack. These strange orange cubes are quite confusing.
